Hi I'm Amber a.k.a., The Crazy Dog Lady!

Allow me to start from the beginning. In 2005 I adopted my pug Eugenie from a local all-breed rescue and fell completely head over heels in love. Genie is my heart. I was totally hooked from the minute we brought her home. A few months after adopting Genie, Eudora (also a fawn pug) found her way to our home. Then we moved into our house and inherited Einstein the wise old Golden Retriever and a few years later MacKinley the big white fluff ball (who we believe to be a Golden Retriever/Great Pyrenees mix). So, yeah, basically, I am that girl with four dogs who talks constantly about them like they are my children. And you know what? I wouldn't have it any other way!

Ok, you are probably now wondering "How does photography come into play?" Well, my husband and I are wedding photographers and have been photographing weddings under the business name of Lotus Blossom Photography since May of 2008. Every now and then we have had the opportunity to do portrait sessions and every now and then, they have been of dogs, or of people and their dogs. Score! And slowly but surely I discovered that I absolutely love photographing dogs. Duh! Combining two things that I love - dogs and photography? I really probably should have made this connection sooner, but hey, I'm blonde - cut me some slack!
