We LOVE engagement sessions!! They are a great time for all of us to get acquainted a little better before the big day. If you are anything like me, you are wondering what you should wear and where the shoot should take place. The slide show above is a great example of both of these things. You'll most likely want to avoid busy patterns and you won't want to dress alike. Contrasting colorful solids are generally a good bet. Most of all though, we just want you to be yourself. If you happen to love a pastel patchwork 3-piece suit then by all means wear it. The most important thing is for you to feel confident and beautiful in what you are wearing because it will shine through in your photos. We also prefer that you choose the location for your shoot based on something of significance for you and your fiance - the place he proposed, the place you met, or a place you enjoy going to together are all good ideas. The photoshoot above took place in their home town and the first several frames were shot at the school where they met. And don't worry, if nothing comes to mind we will be happy to make some suggestions!
